Where there is so much to see and do whatever the weather. June and July 2007 visitors to York have not been affected by the flooding or the rain all have had a wonderful time.

Two Modern well designed Log Cabins, fully equipped for Self-Catering, are very spacious and comfortable.

This small friendly and secure site is located only 20 mins from the majestic and historic City of York and it's many attractions including York Races. 10 mins from Grimston Bar Park & Ride.

With a pub restaurant adjacent to the site and the village of Wilberfoss and the market town of Pocklington close by,

The lodges make an ideal base from which to explore York and this beautiful area of North Yorkshire, The Wolds and spectacular coastline.

Along with all the other attractions there is th beautiful York Minster, Selby Abbey, and Beverely Minster.

The lodges can also be booked together to accomodate larger families or groups.

Very spacious sleeps 6 comfortably. The master bedroom has en-suite facilities. the second bedroom has a bed settee and can also be used as a sitting room.

The Kitchen and Dining room has an oak floor, there is a washer dryer and microwave.

The lounge has a T.V. and DVD, a double bed settee.

There are so many places to visit in York a few days is not really sufficient to see every thing

The main places to visit are the very spectacular Minster, National Rail Museum, Bar Walls and Gateways, and the Kirk Museum with its refurbished victorian street. Not forgetting the world famous Jorvik Viking centre, the daily markets and an excellent shopping Centre.

The Lodges are ideal for a visit to " The Deep" in Hull which is a state of the art sealife aquarium. Hull also has an excellent marina and shopping

Also within easy reach are the spectacular Yorkshire Wolds National Park, and some of the best coastline in Britain. The Holicars Conservation Area & bird sanctury are close by together with the Elvington Air Museum.
